SWAP plant-based chicken is made from soy protein isolate and pea protein flour.
IS SWAP CHICKEN NON-GMO?
Yes, it is made using Non-GMO soybeans.
HOW MUCH PLANT-BASED PROTEIN DOES SWAP CHICKEN CONTAIN?
SWAP plant-based chicken contains 19 grams of protein per 90 gram filet.
The primary protein source is soy. Soy is a good quality plant-based protein, which contains all nine essential amino acids in adequate proportions required for human nutrition.
It is high in protein from plant sources with a lower environmental impact, making it a good alternative to traditional meat.
WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE USED TO MAKE SWAP CHICKEN?
We use as few ingredients as possible to make SWAP Chicken.
It is made with just 8 familiar, clean-label ingredients, including two sources of plant-based proteins. Visit our product page to learn more.
IS SWAP CHICKEN VEGAN?
Yes, it is 100% vegan.
We use only plant-based protein to create a texture and flavor similar to chicken, but with a lower environmental impact than animal protein, making it great for vegan, vegetarian, or flexitarian diets.
IS SWAP CHICKEN HALAL?
Yes, it is certified Halal by Halal Quality Control (HQC).
DOES SWAP CONTAIN ALLERGENS?
It contains soy and may contain trace amounts of sulphites.

Is SWAP Chicken gluten free?
Yes, it is gluten free.

No, as a vegan meat alternative, SWAP Chicken does not contain any animal hormones or antibiotics.

Are your products frozen?
Yes, SWAP Chicken is shipped and sold frozen and must be stored at -18 degrees C.
What is your pricing?
How can I receive samples?
What is the shelf life of SWAP Chicken?
SWAP Chicken is best before 12 months when frozen. Once thawed, keep refrigerated in its original packaging and consume within 3 days. Note, it should not be refrozen once thawed.
Where is SWAP Vegan Chicken made?
SWAP is a vegan chicken alternative that is produced in France.
Is SWAP more sustainable than animal meat?
Yes, plant-based meats including plant-based chicken are known to have a better impact on the environment than animal products. Our preliminary Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) confirmed this better impact for our SWAP Chicken product. With the recent opening of our large-scale manufacturing facility, we are conducting a new LCA to understand our impact. We will share our sustainability findings once they are available.
Can you eat SWAP raw?
SWAP Chicken is perfectly safe to consume without any prior cooking or seasoning. However, for the best flavor and experience, we recommend cooking and seasoning it as you would a conventional chicken breast.
